Tray Allen lives up to the hype

One of the more interesting storylines heading into the Longhorns' mini-camp on Sunday was the anticipated performances of the six offensive line commits.

The group of talented blockers that Texas has assembled is regarded as one of the best o-line classes that college football has seen in a long time, and fans were anxiously awaiting word on how the group would perform in its first opportunity to work out together.

In talking to several people that were able to attend the camp, the reviews have all been positive, and the prospects all lived up to the hype.

The guy that had the most weight riding on his shoulders was five-star Tray Allen, and the South Grand Prairie product had nothing but positive things to say about the camp itself.

The nation's eight-ranked prospect overall in the recently released Rivals100, Allen was a name mentioned by several other campers as a player that stood out on the day. Even so, the 6-foot-4, 305-pounder said he feels like he could have had a better showing.
