Vols back recruiting South Florida

Two years ago Tennessee assistant coach Trooper Taylor made a serious splash by going to South Florida and finding success in signing Demetrice Morley, Vladimir Richard, and Gerald Williams. Last year, the Vols were not heavily involved with many prospects in and around South Beach. Bynes is a 6-foot-2, 212 pound middle linebacker from Boyd-Anderson High School. If the school name sounds familiar, it should because that is where Tennessee signee Gerald Williams graduated from two years ago. In fact, Bynes knows a good bit about the Vols because of Williams.

"I know Vladimir and Gerald," Bynes said. "In fact, Gerald has been around a good bit the last few months and he is huge. He has been working out and is really big. I have not talked to Vlad much, but I have talked to Gerald some about Tennessee."
