Nutt Camp is underway

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The 2006 Houston Nutt Camp kicked off Sunday afternoon, and several players from the region hope to gain the attention of the coaches, as well as to become better overall football players.

From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., campers registered, measured in and got situated for the four-day camp. At 7 p.m. they participated in skill tests like the 40-yard dash, shuttle run and the vertical leap. Some of the top prospects on hand are already committed to the Razorbacks in Little Rock (Ark.) Catholic defensive end Jake Bequette, 6-foot-5, 250 pounds, Monticello (Ark.) center Seth Oxner, 6-foot-4, 285 pounds. and Paris (Ark.) tight end Grant Freeman. The only other instater with an offer who is present is Little Rock Centeral Arkansas Christian tight end/athlete David Williams, 6-foot-3, 240 pounds.
