Better than ever

When Kyle Hix played his junior season, he used his 6-foot-6 inch, 290-pound frame to dominate the competition. With that kind of size, and surprising athleticism to go along with it, there aren't many high school players that can measure up.

Unfortunately for defenders that are on Aledo's schedule for next fall, things are only going to get worse. Hix, an early Texas commitment, recently took part in a Texas mini-camp and he put the results of a recent growth spurt on display. The four-star standout measured in at just a shade under 6-7 and tipped the scales at 317 pounds, Hix is more happy with his decision than ever after bonding with his future teammates at the camp.
