Is this the one for NU?

The University of Nebraska had a surprise visitor today. Quarterback is a position that did not get filled on the Husker board last year and this year it has been somewhat of a struggle, but things are starting to fall into place for them…maybe. They lost one quarterback from Texas, but this one from the Lone Star State just might fill the bill. Who is this 6-foot-4, 215-pound quarterback and do the Huskers really have the lead?

"Yes sir, I saw the (Huskers Illustrated) magazine at the airport coming in," said Patrick Witt, who is the 6-foot-4, 215-pound pro-style quarterback from Wylie, Texas.

Witt has had offers from mainly Texas schools, but others have been in there too. His offer list now includes the following: Nebraska, Purdue, Tulsa, UTEP, Texas A&M, Tulane, Wisconsin, Baylor, Texas Tech and Indiana.

Last year, Witt played for Parkview High School in Georgia, but this coming year, he will be at Wylie High School in Texas.
