Witt takes tour of Indiana schools
Purdue has already snagged one commitment from a Texas product from camp in The Woodlands' Colton McKey
Another - Wylie, Tex., quarterback Patrick Witt - has returned home from a day of working with Boilermaker quarterbacks coach Ed Zaunbrecher. Purdue has talked to the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Witt about a scholarship offer, and finally had a chance to see West Lafayette in person last Monday.
On Witt's trip to Indiana, he did not work out at their camp because he had just finished a workout earlier that day and was tired from the travel. Still, he was impressed with the Hoosiers and the trip to Bloomington surpassed his expectations.
The camp, the opportunity to work with Zaunbrecher and the tour of the campus all gave Witt a positive feeling about Purdue on his way home from the trip.
Witt has set an ideal timetable for having his decision made for the end of the summer.
