Arizona needs a running back to emerge

Going into every football season, there are always questions that can only be answered on the football field. One of the biggest questions going into next season revolves around the battle for the starting running back position.

With Mike Bell having graduated, it is safe to say that the running back position is wide open. It is important for the Wildcats to fill the position in similar fashion or better than Bell played last season, as he rushed for nearly 1,000 yards.

Looking back at last season, it is not a coincidence that some of Arizona's best games game with their best rushing performances.

In Arizona's win against Northern Arizona, the Wildcats combined for 187 rushing yards, with Bell getting 122 of them.

In the win against UCLA, Arizona combined for a whopping 315 rushing yards. Bell finished with 153 yards and Gilbert Harris finished with 113 as UCLA could not stop the run.
