Powered Up: D-Line must dominate

As we continue our tour of each position on the Missouri roster, we arrive at what most people say is the best position on the team. Missouri's defensive line returns its top seven players from a season ago and adds redshirt freshmen Jaron Baston and Tarell Corby to the mix.

Looking at that, there is no reason the Missouri defensive line shouldn't be very good. But the Tigers need it to be more than pretty good. The Tigers need the front four to be dominant.

Last season, Missouri's defensive line was a question mark coming into the season. While the line got progressively better throughout the season, the Tigers finished ninth in the Big 12 in rushing yards allowed and yards per carry. They gave up 23 touchdowns on the ground, second most in the league.

Missouri has to be able to get to the quarterback without bringing the house.
