Wednesday Practice Report: Morning

Arizona completed the first half of the 11th day of camp this morning despite a small but continuous rain. The offense definitely looked sharper this morning than they have earlier in the week.

Notes from the morning session include:

  • Willie Tuitama had a good morning finding a lot of Arizona's receivers. He already has great chemistry with Syndric Steptoe and Mike Thomas, but seems to have really put an emphasis on finding other guys to see what they can do.

  • B.J. Dennard had another very good morning, catching a few deep balls. He is very quick off the line, and despite a few plays he was a little too wide on his route, he still managed to make the play. He has really stepped up as of late.

  • Anthony Johnson had another good day and has obviously been one of the bigger surprises of the fall. He has really improved his speed and has a very long stride, which has made it more difficult for the defensive backs to cover him.
