NU Notes: Ganz not scared of Keller

Ironically, NU sophomore quarterback Joe Ganz spent his off day this past Monday watching the USC vs. Arizona State game on ESPN Classic before he knew anything about the possibility of Sam Keller joining the Husker program. Keller threw for 347 yards in the game and actually led ASU out to a 21-7 halftime lead before eventually falling 38-28.

Ganz said he was very impressed with what he saw from Keller, but the bottom line is if he comes to Nebraska nothing will be handed to him.

"I'll have my hands full, but he's not going to just come in here and be given the starting spot," Ganz said.

"If he transfers here, that's great, it's his decision. He's not going to get anything handed to him. We're still going to be here, he's still going to have to work and he's still going to have to fight for the position. I've been here for three years and he's still going to have to take it from me."
