Q&A with Akeem Dent
Following G-Day last spring, many people were wondering if Georgia had enough depth at linebacker with only four healthy after G-Day. Going into the 2006 season, Georgia now has six experienced linebackers which only leaves room for probably one freshman this season. With four talented freshmen Darius Dewberry, Akeem Hebron, Darryl Gamble, and Akeem Dent the coaches will have a tough call on who gets the redshirt and who will play. One player in that mix is Dent from Douglass high school in Atlanta. UGASports caught up with the freshman to ask him some questions about his role on the team and college life.
UGASports: Where are you on the depth chart right now?
Dent: "Right now, I am working out with the third and fourth unit and just getting a couple of reps and learning the schemes. Mainly I am working at the SAM position which is good for me."
