Stanford defensive line ready to make an impact

As Stanford's practice begins to hit its preparation stages for the season opener against Oregon, one thing that has the coaches talking is the play of the defensive line.


With the graduation of four-year letter winners Babatunde Oshinowo and Julian Jenkins, defensive coordinator A.J. Christoff has been looking for answers.


While it is not easy to replace players the quality of those two, Christoff has seen good things from the players hoping to replace them.


"We're excited about the enthusiasm the redshirt freshmen bring to the table," Christoff recently told the media. "We're pleased with their contributions thus far and their youthful spirit is an exciting addition for the older players."
