Bear With Us

So it's week three of the season and both Baylor and Washington State sit at 1-1. Both are coming off blowout wins over inferior opponents a week after suffering losses to top 25 teams in disappointing fashion.

It seems to me like this one has the ingredients for a good one, and it's too bad I won't be there to see it. Both the Cougars and the Bears have a lot to prove in 2006. Neither finished where they wanted in 2005, and with a new season come new and often higher aspirations.

I'm no expert on Washington State or the Pac-10, but I've been on the Baylor beat since head coach Guy Morriss arrived in the spring of 2002 bringing with him a vision for a bigger, better, brighter future for the Baylor program.
