They said it: K-State 45, Florida Atlantic 0

A 45-0 shutout victory over Florida Atlantic (0-2) improved Kansas State's record to 2-0, and the win also presented K-State with an opportunity to play a number of young players, such as true freshmen Josh Moore and Josh Freeman. Here's a look at some noteworthy quotes from Moore, Freeman and a collection of K-State and FAU represenatives taken after Saturday night's contest.

"A shutout is good if you're playing Manhattan Junior High let alone a Division I-A team. Anytime you have a shutout it just builds confidence in the defense and they put us in excellent field position along with the special teams all game. Field position is the name of the game and we were very fortunate to have that."
-Wildcat quarterback Dylan Meier

"We weren't really doubting our offense. We knew they were going to come out. We had a tough practice this week and were definitely working to get everything back together with the offense. They definitely came out and showed today. We never doubted them."
-Wildcat cornerback Bryan Baldwin
