Ballard talks about visit to KU game
Last Saturday night two Kansas commits got a chance to get together. Both Christian Ballard and Isiah Barfield met for the first time to see Kansas play Louisiana Monroe.
"He's a cool guy and I'm glad I got a chance to talk with him and meet him," Ballard said. "I also got top talk with his parents for a while. We talked about how both of our seasons are going and about KU football."
Kansas moved to 2-0 on the year against Louisian-Monroe, but it didn't come without dramatic fashion. The Jayhawks pulled off a two point win, but Ballard saw a lot of positives.
"I know it was a closer game than some thought it would be," Ballard said. "I had a chance to go down and talk with Clint Bowen after the game. I liked what I saw from Kerry Meier. I think he's going to be a good quarterback in the future and I'm looking forward to catching his passes down the road."
