Radovich is ready

It's been a long wait for Drew Radovich, but he's more than ready.

Saturday will mark Radovich's first home game as a starter. After impressing in practices and scrimmages, Radovich rose up the depth chart and claimed a spot as a starting guard. After waiting for his turn, Radovich can't help but be excited for the home opener against Nebraska.

"I'm just so blessed to be able to play for this university," Radovich said. "It's just so exciting to finally play at home and be starting."

Like many players, Radovich may be asked to adapt his role due to injuries. After Ryan Kalil suffered what was believed to be a minor head injury, Radovich stayed after practice to work on his snap exchange.

While he does not believe he will be called upon to play center and that Kalil will be ready to go, Radovich is ready should the situation present itself.
