Cats expecting another battle from Marshall
Heading into the 2006 football season, two games loomed as possible turning points for Kansas State's season. With so many questions hanging over the Wildcats' season, it became clear that the outcome of games with Marshall and Baylor might set the course of the rest of the campaign.
With the Marshall Thundering Herd coming to Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday, the 2-0 Wildcats are about to face their first severe test of the season. This is a test entirely based on the pass/fail grading system. A win could propel the Cats forward as they attempt to prepare for Big 12 play, but a loss could put a giant dent in the Cats' confidence and put them on an uphill course the rest of the way.
