Visit moves Iowa into the lead for Binns

Three-star prospect Broderick Binns returned home to the Twin Cities on Sunday night after making an official visit to the University of Iowa over the weekend. According to the 6-foot-2, 235-pound Binns, who attends Cretin-Derham Hall, the two-day visit to Iowa City went well.

Binns, who the Hawkeyes are recruiting at defensive end, drove down to Iowa City on Saturday morning.

Following the official visit, Binns says the Hawkeyes have moved into the lead, but two trips remain, as he hopes to decide between three schools. Trips to Kansas State and Arizona State are next.
