Powercat of the game: Tim Reyer

Kansas State punted just a total 14 times in its four previous meetings with Baylor between 1998 and 2003. Thanks to an inconsistent offensive effort the Wildcats sent punter Tim Reyer out 10 times in Saturday's 17-3 loss to the Bears, and Reyer responded as well as anyone could hope for.

The junior averaged 45.2 yards per punt on his 10 attempts with two punts downed inside the 5-yard line, providing a bit of a bright spot in what was an otherwise disappointing contest.

When asked if he could have imagined putting 10 times in a single game, Reyer paused before admitting that he wasn't even aware he was so active in the contest.

"I punted 10 times?" Reyer asked. "Wow. No, I wouldn't have expected that at all."
