Bruin recruit tearing it up

UCLA linebacker commit Steve Sloan (6-3, 227, 4.53) from San Jose, Calif., Archbishop Mitty is probably underrated as a three-star. He is having an outstanding senior season and the more you hear about him the more you like this future Bruin.


Sloan is one of the main reasons that his high school team is a perfect 5-0 and off to their best season in years.


In those five games, Sloan is averaging 12 tackles a contest. The thing that makes his stats so impressive is the fact that Sloan is playing with a cast on due to a broken hand.
