Reggie Carter seeing the light

Redshirt freshman linebacker Reggie Carter had his best game as a Bruin against Stanford. He made several good stops and played the game with great confidence. It was like watching a player turning on his light and getting a glimpse of what the future is going to be at the linebacker position for the Bruins.

"I really think that week by week it is getting a little bit better and a little bit easier," Carter said. "The coaches are great. Coach DeWayne Walker puts us in the right position and we just go out there and do what he tells us to do and execute as a full defense.

"As a total defense, we just try to have fun out there flying to the ball so we really make it a game to see who can get to the ball the fastest and have some fun out there doing our jobs."
