For Williams, decision day nears

King of the Hill is a rather simple concept (the game, not the television show) - the person at the 'top' is the king of the hill and has to defend his status while everyone else is attempting to knock him off his perch. It easily translates to the world of recruiting where the University of Florida has been on top of the leader board of Longwood (Fla.) Lyman defensive tackle Ian Williams since the spring. Over thirty other programs have attempted to knock them off in the form of offering a scholarship.

In a little over two weeks from today, we'll find out if anyone has been successful in doing so.

The 6-foot-2, 295-pound lineman has already officially visited Notre Dame and Ole Miss and may take still take visits to Clemson and South Carolina. Williams also has offers from the likes of Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn.
