Trojans back to work

Monday's practice had a little bit different of a feel than usual, but that was expected after the Trojans string of 38 consecutive regular season victories was snapped Saturday against Oregon State.

USC senior Steve Smith had the best game of his career with 258 yards receiving - two less than the school record of 260 set by R. Jay Soward against UCLA in 1996 - and had two touchdowns as well.

But his best game happened to come during only his third loss in his four years at USC. USCFootball.com had the chance to speak to Smith about his performance and how he's taken the loss.
