Lewis in a holding pattern

Following a junior campaign that saw him earn honorable mention all-state honors, College Station (Texas) A&M Consolidated prospect Detron Lewis continues to put up nice numbers in his senior season. The three-star rated and No. 39 ranked wide receiver in the class of 2007 is having yet another season of big stats and has lead his team to an 8-1 record.

Through his team's first nine games he has racked up 566 yards and four touchdowns on 31 receptions. He also took time to take his first official visit of the year, which went to UTEP. Along with the Miners, Lewis has stated an interest in also visiting Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech before giving serious consideration to where he may want to spend his college years.
