All eyes on USC

Derek Landri did some celebrating on Saturday night. The Irish defensive tackle, riding the emotional high of his final game inside Notre Dame Stadium, also did some advanced scouting.

Before Saturday's 41-9 rout of Army, Landri and several players picked up DVD's that featured USC highlights. The coaching staff wouldn't let the team get their hands on the clips any sooner, not that Notre Dame head coach Charlie Weis hadn't already spent the week mixing preparations for Army with some early work on USC.

For all the talk about not looking ahead leading up to Saturday, the Irish had been keeping an eye on the Trojans for quite a while.
