Five Players of the Game: Arizona State

It was a tough day for Arizona Football after surprising everyone in the country with three wins over ranked teams in consecutive weeks. However, despite the 28-14 loss to ASU, Arizona has a core of young defensive guys that did well in the rivalry game and give the Wildcats a lot of optimism for next season.

1. Louis Holmes: There was a lot of hype following Holmes' entrance to Arizona and he had a solid season to go with it. He had such a huge performance in his first game of the season that many fans immediately thought he would be the best defensive end in the league. He tapered off a little after that game, but continued to learn the system throughout the year and had one of his best games against the Sun Devils
