Final Sun Bowl grade card

Quarterback

For the vast majority of the day, Chase Daniel was fantastic. He made every throw. There was only one really negative play, but it was a big one. With Missouri up 14 points on the 30-yard line, Daniel did the one thing he could not do on third down: He took a sack. If he throws it away, the Tigers are in field goal range with a chance to go up 17 points. Instead, they had an 18-yard punt and Oregon State won the game. The one bad play does not outweigh the good ones he made, but it also prevents him from getting an A.

Final Grade: A-

Tailback

That is what can happen when you commit to Tony Temple, saddle up and ride him. What a game. He deserved to win.

Final Grade: A+
