Thomas leaning to Razorbacks

It has been plainly obvious that La Marque (Texas) safety James Thomas has been a priority recruit for Arkansas from the beginning based on the interest they have shown, and it looks like that has paid off now.

Thomas, 6-foot, 175 pounds, is rated one of the top 50 prospects in Texas by Rivals.com and has a Rivals Rating of 5.7, which is the highest ranking a three-star recruit can receive. In addition to Arkansas, he reports scholarship offers from Arizona, Kansas State, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Iowa State, Texas Tech, Indiana, Baylor and several others.

"I'm really thinking about [committing to Arkansas]," Thomas said. "If I do go on one, it's probably to Oklahoma State, but I'm thinking I might not and go ahead and stick with Arkansas."
