Marve felt at home during Vandy official

In early June, the Vanderbilt Commodores picked up a commitment from one of the top three linebackers in the Memphis region as White Station inside linebacker Chris Marve gave his verbal. The 6-foot, 235 pound tackling machine had developed a good relationship with the Vanderbilt coaching staff and when the program presented an offer, Marve saw no reason to waste any time.

Over the weekend, the 2006 Class 5A Mr.Football Linemen of the Year award winner headed to Nashville to join 12 other current Vanderbilt commitments for their official visits to the school. On Sunday, VandySports.com was able to contact Marve and get a recap on how the weekend went.
