Flannel reveals the truth about his senior season

Running back Jared Flannel is looking forward to being his old self again. After a standout junior campaign that had colleges looking his way, Flannel broke a bone in his right foot before his senior season started, leaving him just a shadow of the person who took the field as a junior. However, in a show of incredible toughness, Flannel still started the last ten games of the season, leading his team to the state quarterfinals.

Despite the painful injury, which severely limited his speed and agility, Flannel still had an excellent senior year. There were times, specifically in the playoffs, when Flannel would simply take over the game. However, after the season, the Texas Tech commitment decided he needed to have his foot taken care of.
