Ayles in high demand

Orange Lutheran (Calif.) tight end Blake Ayles was recently named a Rivals.com first-team Junior All-American, and a strong case could be made that he is the top prospect at the position in the 2008 national class.

Ayles was the top pass catcher on his state championship squad last season, playing with USC 2007 signees Aaron Corp and Michael Reardon, among a host of other Division I prospects, and at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds with a reported 4.7 40-yard dash time, he has great size and athleticism.

A host of schools have already taken note of Ayles' status as one of the top west coast prospects in the class, and reportedly offered scholarships.
