Goodman planning visit

The winter storm that rendered most of the state of Indiana immobile this week, also may have kept one of the state's top juniors from visiting West Lafayette.

The postponement of Wednesday night's home basketball game and the high school hoops season have forced Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger wide receiver John Goodman looking for a new date to visit campus.

Purdue is one of four schools that have already extended the 6-foot-5, 190-pound Goodman a scholarship offer. The Boilermakers came through with their offer shortly before Christmas Break and it certainly caught Goodman's attention.

Ball State, Iowa and Michigan are the other three schools who have extended scholarship offers.
