Spring Preview: WRs

Texas A&M loses wide receivers Chad Schroeder and L'Tydrick from the lineup in 2007, and both were stable contributors. Schroeder was A&M's leading receiver while Riley was a possession receiver that came through in the clutch.

But the Aggies won't be reeling from their departures with a host of steady receivers returning. Earvin Taylor will be the elder statesman of the group in 2007 as a senior. After tearing his ACL in 2005 Taylor came back in 2006 and was a steady contributor.

The Aggies, however, will be looking to increase their receiving game on the arm of quarterback Stephen McGee. Last season A&M relied heavily on the ground game and an option attack with McGee and running backs Jorvorskie Lane and Mike Goodson.

But if the Aggies choose to go to the air they will have a steady receiving corps at their disposal, and that isn't even including tight end Martellus Bennett.
