Practice Insider: Lots of changes on day one

With five new assistant coaches on staff, it's not surprising that the first day of spring practice was very different from the practices of prior years.



Before practice even officially kicked off, there were signs that things would be very different. Approximately 40 minutes before the team was scheduled hit the practice field, new offensive line coach Rick Trickett was already working with his unit getting a head start.



"Well, he don't have a watch," joked head coach Bobby Bowden. "I have to get him a watch of some kind."
