Dawgs practice under the lights

The Georgia Bulldogs practice under the warm evening moonlight in Athens on Monday following a week off for Spring Break. The depth the Bulldogs had coming into mat drills this spring took another major hit with the news of Vince Vance's knee injury suffered on the last day of practice before spring break. Vance a JUCO transfer from Georgia Military College was on the practice field in a non-contact green jersey, but he did not participate in drills.

"Vince Vance hurt his knee. I do not know how bad it is hurt, but he will not practice this week and it is a non-surgery injury. I think it is a PCL strain," said head coach Mark Richt. "It happened on Friday right at the end of practice. He cannot afford to miss the work.
