Defense sizzles in scrimmage

If you are a fan of defense then yesterday's scrimmage was a masterpiece. If you like offense it was something out of Nightmare on Elm Street. The defense came to play and all three units, the first, second and third dominated the scrimmage.

The offense seemingly was making progress the entire spring, but on this night they didn't have answer for what the defense was bringing.

Even on the first play of the scrimmage it looked like the Bruins were going to continue their improvement on the offensive side of the ball when newly appointed starting quarterback Ben Olson hit Joe Cowan on strike for a 30 yard gain.
