Fort Worth Nike Report

Remember the name David Oku. After a stellar sophomore season and a phenomenal showing at this weekend's Fort Worth Nike Camp, Oku's name will be tossed around the next couple years. Yes, that's years. The running back from Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert is only going to be a junior.

"Oku looked really good," Rivals.com recruiting analyst John Talman said. "His first step is what's impressive. When they were doing hand-off drills, he would take the ball and he was already in motion. A few steps later he was gone. He's a fast kid but he's also a well- built kid."

Oku, listed at 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, finished with 1,462 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on 179 carries as a sophomore.
