Goulbourne holding several offers

Though he might be a little under-publicized, Lance Goulbourne is a growing some popularity among college coaching staffs. The 6-foot-7, 215-pound Brooklyn native has made a name for himself at the Hun School in Princeton, New Jersey.

An athletic, versatile forward that can shoot from the outside as well as attack the rim, Goulbourne has already picked up a couple of high-major offers from Big Ten, SEC, and Big East programs.

"Right now, recruiting me the heaviest would be Northwestern," Goulbourne told recently. "They have offered me and I am interested in them also. Although they are at the bottom of their conference right now, the school is great and I could get immediate playing time. Other schools that have offered are Vanderbilt, St. Joe's, LaSalle, Rutgers, and Seton Hall. Marquette has come on after the Pittsburgh Jam Fest."

Goulbourne has not picked out a favorite but does say he is quite interested in the Commodores of the SEC.
