Bay Area RB coming on strong

Keep an eye on running back Deleon Eskridge (6-0, 185, 4.58) from San Mateo (Calif.) Serra. He is just beginning to hit stride giving D-I schools another reason to visit the Serra campus for someone other than Cal commit J.P. Hurrell.

Eskridge was League Offensive back of the year as well as a first-team all-league selection after rushing for 1,641 yards and 27 touchdowns while averaging 10.4 yards per carry. He also was a very productive receiver out of the backfield hauling in eight receptions for 149 yards and three touchdowns while averaging 18.6 yards per catch.

There are no offers on the table yet for Eskridge but almost every Pac 10 school has been by the school already.

Mountain West schools BYU and Utah have already been on the campus while UNLV is scheduled to come by this coming Friday.

Idaho from the WAC is another school that has been on campus showing interest.
