Local RB one to watch

Dartmouth (MA) HS running back Jordan Todman's stock in the eyes of college recruiters has risen at a gradual pace, but that's about the only aspect of this senior's game that moves slowly.

After putting up 1,200 yards while splitting carries his sophomore season, Todman finished up his junior campaign with an Eastern Mass-best 2,219 yards on 222 carries (just a shade under 10 yards a pop) with 28 touchdowns in 11 games. To boot, he also threw a pair of touchdowns on halfback passes.

There were some doubts during the regular season about the level of competition Todman was putting up those numbers against, but he erased them when he put up nearly 150 yards in the first half in a 15-14 semifinal loss to Brockton.
