Impressive list of offers for behemoth

One of the most sought after offensive lineman on the west coast is Khaled Holmes (6-3, 300) from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei. Holmes has good bloodlines, his father played college football for Michigan and his brother is former USC tight end Alex Holmes.

The younger Holmes also benefits by playing for one of the best high school coaches in Southern California in Bruce Rolleson.

As a junior, Holmes earned first-team all-league, first-team all-county and second-team all-CIF.

There were a horde of college coaches that came by Mater Dei this past spring to check Holmes out. Florida State came by the school and is showing interest. Florida is also showing Holmes a lot of attention through the mail.

The Orange County behemoth has offers on the table from USC, Cal, Arizona, Stanford, Washington, Oregon State, Ole Miss, Nebraska and Notre Dame.
