Painting a clearer picture
Virginia has been a hot-bed for Penn State recruits for the past five years, and this year is no different, with Maury High School's Vinston Painter.
Maury head coach Delton Cotton said Painter ran about 6-foot-6, 315 pounds entering their final week of school.
Cotton went on to say that Painter reminds him of a certain offensive lineman who recently finished a prolific career at Penn State.
Coach Cotton should know being that he coached the former PSU stand-out and current Arizona Cardinal.
Painter has made it known that he is leaning towards in-state Virginia Tech and Florida, but coach Cotton spoke of the Penn State influence in Virginia, and Norfolk area in particular. He added that the Penn State tradition that is well known in the area as well as one coach in particular.
