Horns add another

The Texas Longhorns filled up the majority of their 2008 recruiting class before the month of February had ended, and heading into the summer the Longhorn were looking at only a few available scholarships.

You can now take one more off the board.

DeSean Hales, a four-star wide receiver prospect out of Klein Oak, chose Texas over a host of other offers over the weekend, bringing the Longhorns' commitment total to 20. Hales, a Rivals100 member that's regarded as one of the most explosive offensive skill position players in the entire country, actually committed to Mack Brown on Saturday night while in Austin, and he formally announced his decision on Sunday evening, just hours after completing a Texas mini-camp.
