Robinson a fast rising prospect

Klein (Texas) Oak High School athlete Terrence Robinson is a prospect for recruiting fans to keep an eye on in the coming months. College coaches have taken a heavy notice recently as Robinson has accumulated six offers in recent weeks after playing on Oak's junior varsity after transferring from Spring before his junior season.

So far on his plate are offers from Houston, TCU, Tulane, SMU, New Mexico State, and Nebraska. Currently the 5-foot-9, 170 pound speed burner is keeping an open mind.

"I'm still open to everyone," he said. "It's an ongoing process and I want to give everyone an equal opportunity. My parents are going to be part of helping me out with deciding on what schools to look at."

Robinson, who excels at different positions, is getting interest to play a number of those spots.

"I'm getting a lot of attention for receiver," he said. "I get some for runningback, receiver, cornerback, kick returner, and punt returner. But mostly they tell me they're recruiting me as an athlete."

Among the schools who've offered Robinson is TCU, which he says he has an interest in.

"I don't know a whole lot about the school," he said. "I like them, I've seen them on T.V. and I know that L.T. played there."

As far as a decision is concerned fans may have to wait until the final days to see where the fast rising prospect is headed.

"I'll probably wait out the process," he said. "When I commit I want to be on the same page as the college and with my parents. Like I said they will play a big part in where I go. Now, I don't know when that's going to be, I don't have a time table."
