Tanner Brock is drawing early attention

Expectations for the Copperas Cove Bulldawg football team are sky high for the upcoming season. After an 11-3 record and a loss in the state championship game to San Antonio Alamo Heights in 2006, the Dawgs feel like it is their time to shine. Key players return on both sides of the ball and for this reason many people are claiming that they are the team to beat in the state.

Perhaps the most vital player returning on the defense, if not the whole team, is 2009 linebacker Tanner Brock. The 6-foot-3, 200 pound junior had an amazing sophomore season and almost immediately landed on the radars of college coaches from around the country.
