Interesting comments after UGA visit

One of the top offensive tackle prospects in the country recently headed north to the University of Georgia from his Florida home. Rivals100 prospect Matt Patchan listed UGA in his final eight recently and he gave Athens a long look late last week.

"I got up to Athens late on Wednesday and then I stayed there all day on Thursday and I ended up leaving around the middle of the day on Friday," said Patchan. "I was there for a little over a day really."

Patchan had a plan late in the spring and that was to visit the schools he had interest in before trimming his list to five or less before his senior year began. Georgia was one of the eight schools he listed still in contention earlier in June, so he wanted to get up to Athens to see what Georgia was all about.
