Michigan D-lineman high on Boilermakers

At 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds with speed in the 4.6 range, Sterling Heights (Mich.) Utica Ford defensive lineman Chris McDonald possesses the tools college coaches covet.

This summer McDonald is taking a tour of Big Ten summer camps looking to become more of a complete player, while also visiting with some of those same coaches.

Last week, McDonald participated in the Michigan summer camp, but pulled a hamstring while running the 40-yard dash and had to sit out most of the drills.

He then planned to head to camps at Michigan State and Purdue in coming weeks. Obviously, his speed is a great asset and one he uses often when rushing the passer, but through these camps, he's hoping to add more to his repertoire.
