2009 RB wants to hear from Ducks

Midwest City (Okla.) Carl Albert running back David Oku is one of the top candidates to be the No. 1-ranked player in the state of Oklahoma for 2009. The 5-foot-9, 176-pounder with 4.49-second speed in the 40-yard dash helped his team to a state title as a sophomore and is looking for another this coming year. He's also garnering the interest of college coaches. Duck Sports Authority found out where Oregon stands.

Oku ran for 1,462 yards on 179 carries and 19 touchdowns as a sophomore to earn first-team all-City honors in the big school division last year. His team should be strong again in 2007.
