Lynch ready for his final year

Corey Lynch, a two-time all-American safety, was selected as the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year by both the coaches and media. Lynch spoke with the media on Tuesday at the Embassy Suites in Greenville, S.C., during the SoCon's Media Day. During his question and answer session, Lynch touched on several topics including the season opener against Michigan and losing his running mate in the defensive backfield, Jeremy Wiggins.

On Staying Motivated

You've got to have amnesia and forget what you've done. Some mornings you wake up and realize what you've done and then you realize you haven't done anything this year so you might as well forget about it. So you just kind of forget about things for a while and just start working hard like every team in the nation. Go out there everyday and try to work harder than the other guy, the next person. If you keep remembering what you've done a lot of times you just accept the way things are and quit working as hard.
