Suttle leads another talented O-line

Over the last several years, the Appalachian State Mountaineers have been known for their superb offensive line play. With the 2007 campaign just a few short weeks away, Shawn Elliott's group is expected to have yet another solid season. When breaking down the line and whom it will consist of, it is pretty evident that the squad's rock is senior center Scott Suttle.

For nearly his entire career at App State, Suttle has anchored the line and helped pave the way for one of the nation's most exciting and productive offenses. Though he's been a leader for a while now, the senior has taken on a more assertive leadership role this season than he has in the past.

"I've taken on a little more of a vocal role with everybody on the line and I've just been making sure everybody knows what they are doing," Suttle said. "For me the leadership role is not new. I've always kind of pushed myself to be the leader type instead of following. I feel like I've been looked to as a leader even with the older guys over the years. So, I'm just continuing to do what I've always done."
